B & E ENTERPRISES was founded by two civilian contractors working to comfort U.S. soldiers in Iraq as air-conditioning mechanics. It was there, that Everett Rolfe and Brandon Smith, the two creators of this monumental bracelet met each other. From that moment forward the two began to notice something truly inspiring which led to the creation of the NF Bracelets.

Mr. Rolfe was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky in 1980 where soon after he moved to Ford, VA where he graduated with honors from Robert Dinwiddie High School. After obtaining a high school diploma, Mr. Rolfe joined the United States Army on August 16, 1998 as a Small Utilities Equipment Repairer and completed technical training at the top of his class. Mr. Rolfe was stationed in Kitzingen, Germany with the 81st CSG where he met his loving wife of five years. The two were later assigned to the 101st Airborne Air Assault Division in Fort Campbell, KY. After graduating from the Non-Commission Officer Academy there in Fort Campbell, as the Honor Graduate of his class, Mr. Rolfe and his wife were soon deployed to Iraq ( Operation Iraqi Freedom I ). Mr. Rolfes’ wife is currently on her second tour serving with the 101st AASLT in Baghdad, Iraq as a Supply Sergeant. He served in the United States Army for six years ( rank upon separation, E-5 ), meanwhile taking a few college courses between deployments. Within weeks of starting terminal leave, he returned to Kirkuk, Iraq to work for KBR( Kellogg Brown & Root ) as a H.V.A.C. Technician for approximately two years where he and Mr. Smith met and worked together.
Mr. Smith was born in Beaumont, Texas in 1981 where he grew up and attended school in neighboring Sour Lake, Texas. Graduating with honors from Hardin-Jefferson High School in 2000, Mr. Smith began work as a H.V.A.C. apprentice with American Air Systems, Inc., in Beaumont. While working there he attended Carrier Trade School in Houston, Texas to become a certified H.V.A.C. Technician. After 4 years spent with this company, he took a job with KBR ( Kellogg Brown & Root ) where he spent approximately two years as an Air Conditioning Mechanic working with local and third country nationals and met Mr. Rolfe in Kirkuk, Iraq. The two worked side by side during this time period helping to comfort those soldiers who were fighting the war.
During this time spent working for the military Mr. Smith who has never been in or around the U.S. Armed Forces, learned a lot about what soldiers go through and gained a lot of respect for them. Realizing he and Mr. Rolfe were becoming good friends and had a lot of the same goals they would often talk about going into business together once they returned to American soil. After some time working with the locals there in Kirkuk, an Iraqi teenager gave Mr. Smith a bracelet he had handmade from U.S. military issued 550 Parachute Cord and a BDU ( Battle Dress Uniform ) button that he had obtained from a U.S. Soldier. After traveling back to the U.S. periodically for short vacations for almost two years, Mr. Smith would often get compliments and questions as to where people here in the states could get such a bracelet. People from various places would ask where he got it and how they could get one. After getting this everywhere he went ( banks, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. ), it finally dawned on him that this could be something revolutionary. While returning to Iraq to work one day, Mr. Smith approached Mr. Rolfe with the idea of bringing the bracelets back home to the U.S. to offer to the patriotic American people. From that moment forward the two began to notice something truly inspiring which led to the creation of the NF Bracelets. In doing so he said, “We could raise hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions to give back to the soldiers who are losing their lives here for us.” With a firm handshake and an understanding nod from both men, the partnership was created.
